Please DO NOT APPLY if you cannot speak or understand TeluguRole Description:Seeking a qualified advocate to represent the client (intervener) in a 3-day Financial Settlement hearing taking place in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, in early November. The hearing will be conducted via video link with a UK court, and the advocate will support and represent the client locally during the proceedings.Responsibilities:- Attend the full 3-day hearing in Nellore( Nellore is 3 hours by car or train from chennai) - Communicate with the UK legal team and assist the client throughout the process - Ensure smooth technical setup and connection for remote participation (via Microsoft Teams) - Provide legal guidance, interpretation, and reassurance to the client during proceedingsQualifications:- Must be enrolled with the Bar Council of India - Strong command of English and ability to speak and understand Telugu - Prior experience in family law / financial settlement matters preferred - Familiarity with courtroom procedures and client handling - Must have access to a laptop and be comfortable with video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams) - Ability to travel to Nellore and be present for 3 consecutive days in early November - Calm, professional demeanour with good listening and communication skillsFee: Will be discussed during the initial call.
