Hello,Greeting from Quess CorpHope you are doing wellwe have job opportunity with one of our clientDesignation_ AssociateLocation – MumbaiExperience – 3yrs to 6 yrsQualification – Graduation / PG ( Finance / Accounts) Skill Set – Review of financial statements for Hedge fund/PE fund/Fund of FundDrafting footnotes as per ASC 946CostrollSchedule of investments/Condensed Schedule of investmentsReview of financial statements for Hedge fund/PE fund/Fund of FundASC 820ASC 815Derivative instruments – Notional calculationsOffsetting table for derivative instrumentsLook through provision disclosureFinancial highlightsIRRFinancial Statement Preparation:• The Associate will prepare financial statements of hedge funds, PE funds, and fund of funds under US GAAP and IFRS.o Preparing financials from Trial Balance.o Preparing Condensed Schedule of Investments (CSoI)o Preparing Statement of Operations o Preparing Statement of Cash Flows o Calculate Financial Highlights• The position requires strong knowledge in preparing the financial statement of investment companies and related supporting work papers per US GAAP/IFRS, accounting skills, and good knowledge of securities and derivative products;• Updates the draft financial statements for internal review comments, client and auditor comments;• Assisting auditors and ensuring the smooth audit of the financial statements by providing valid backup data for every figure presented in the financial statements;• During non-busy season, the Associate is expected to assist the Fund Accounting team in their daily and month-end activities depending on their workload; Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy;• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA);• Must have worked at least 1 to 2 busy seasons with a reputable audit firm or another Fund Administration firm in the same capacity*; • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word functions;• A team player; must be able to work individually and as part of a team;• Client-focused, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;• Has a good business understanding of financial concepts and procedures;• Analytical and very detail-oriented;• Flexibility to expand work hours as necessary and support business needs;• Ability to communicate effectively across cultures.* A requirement specific to the Financial Statement Preparation groupIf looking for change Kindly revert to this mail with your confirmation, CTC details and updated resume.
