Exp Range- 2-10 yrsSummary of key responsibilities- Define and provide guidance for database creation, configuration, upgrade, patches and refresh requirements - Recommend operating system and database performance monitoring, tuning and configuration changes - Experience with database physical and logical design, query analysis and optimization - Provide technical assistance and subject matter expertise to applications groups - Provide database storage management and capacity management recommendations - Define and manage database security and access permissions in consultation with customer - Ensure completion of authorized Service Requests, Changes, Problem tickets - Manage escalations and track Service Delivery and ensure SLA compliance including with vendors - Review and update the SOP documents on regular basis - Support in all in-flight and upcoming project activities - Recommend and perform customer-approved database replication proceduresYears of ExperienceL3 : experience in Mainframe z/OS Db2 v13 Database AdministrationTechnical requirementsExperience in Mainframe Db2 v12/ v13 Database System-Administration on z/OSDB2 installation, upgrade, patching, configuration and operationsProficiency in DB2, VSAM Systems Performance Tuning and Capacity PlanningExperience in Data Sharing setup in Parallel Sysplex environmentKnowledge in ACF2/RACF, CICS v5.5, Mainframe MQ v9Experience in SMPE and ISV tools installation and migrationCreate and maintain database entities, including instances, databases, table spaces and tablesDatabase DR, Cloning, Backup/Recovery, HA and Point in Time Recovery (PITR) expertiseExperience with Database ISV Tools and Products like OmegaMon and AdminToolApplication related performance tuning; Write, modify, and debug database specific SQL queriesDBA related utilities like Unload, Load, DSNJU003, DSNJU004, Reorg, Runstats, image copyREXX, CLIST, JCL, JES and Assembler knowledgeDB2 keywords:IBM DB2 system admin, IBM DB2 v12, DB2 DBA on z/OS, Mainframe DB2 system programmer, Mainframe DB2 system administrator, IRLM, LISTDEF, REORG, RECOVER, RUNSTATS, QUIESCE, IRLM, DSNJU003, DSN1LOGP, DSN1SDMP
