Job Title: Senior Billing Support Analyst

About the Role :


We are searching for a Senior Billing Support Analyst to join the Aviatrix Finance team in India. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in data analysis and possess proficiency in reporting and enhancing dataset processes. As a front-line support Analyst, you will be responsible for managing billing inquiries, recalculating monthly Customer billings for our Homegrown billing engine throughout the month, and conducting checks and billing variance analysis working alongside IT. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding and experience in MYSQL, Advanced Excel, and BI (Business Intelligence).


What you will do:

  • Respond to billing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Recalculate monthly billings based on predefined parameters and ensure accuracy in billing processes.
  • Analyze billing data on a regular basis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct customer-wise variance analysis to understand discrepancies and deviations in billing patterns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze billing-related data for reporting and decision-making purposes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of billing processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation and testing of billing system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Provide training and support to team members on billing processes and tools.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to adapt to changes.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor/ Masters degree in Finance/Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in billing analysis or related financial analysis roles.
  • Strong proficiency in MYSQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, Vlookup, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in ASC 606 standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience working with billing systems or ERP platforms is a plus.
