Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Scheduling:

- Assist the Production Manager in developing and implementing production schedules that meet deadlines and optimize resource utilization.

- Coordinate production activities with the PPC team to ensure alignment with sales forecasts.

- Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.

- Take corrective action to address any production issues promptly.

Inventory Management:

- Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.

- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure efficient resource allocation.

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Quality Control:

- Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the production process.

- Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.

- Identify and address any quality defects promptly.

- Maintain quality control records and documentation.

Other Responsibilities:

- Assist with the training and development of production staff.

- Maintain clear and accurate production documentation.

- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the production department.

- May perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
