POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE- Specialist-Operational Risk GRADE SM DEPARTMENT Risk LOCATION HO TYPE OF POSITION -Full-timeREPORTS TO Manager – Operational RiskSpecialist-Operational Risk - Job Description Internal Process Reports loss incidents foridentification of control gaps Responsible for implementing risk and control matrix / Supports for completion of RCSA for departments. Maintain various tracker pertaining to Ops risk team. Ensure all the escalations, reporting to the corporate office and ORM elements are done in a mely manner. Implements approach to improve KRI(s) so as to bring them within acceptable threshold. Reports loss incidents for identification of control gaps Responsible for implementing risk and control matrix / register for various processes in Ujjivan's SFB. Updates Operational Risk checklist on which the branches are assessed when visited across regions by Operational Risk team.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Educational Qualifications MBA or Graduate Experience At least 2-4 years of experience in Retail Banking, should have experience in both Assets and Liabilities business with at least 1+ years of hands-on experience in any of the vertical viz., Risk, Audit, Compliance or Operations. Certifications in Risk management (Preferably) Functional Skills Sound knowledge of Risk Management principles & the evolving process for the management of Operational Risk Knowledge of micro finance and functioning of Retail Bank branches; cash management, branch operations, retail Forex, payments and clearing, businesses like deposits, term deposits, gold loans, lockers, overdrafts, etc. Knowledge of RBI polices and guidelines relevant to SFB
