Job Summary:
- We are looking for a reliable Manager (Accounts & Finance) that will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
- The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives.
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. By analyzing day-to-day financial activities with precision, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to upper management.
- Your guidance will empower the company's leaders to make informed decisions that align with the organization's long-term Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Develop trends and projections for the organization's finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
- Maintaining and supporting internal control policies and procedures.
- Collaboration & Supervision of accounting team
- Conducting monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and analyzing cash flow and intercompany activities.
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Internal controlling of books of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage the recording and analysis of expenses related to store and vendors, including rent, CAM (Common Area Maintenance), commission, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract), maintenance, service, etc.
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts to ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Coordinating with auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and support as required.
- Preparation of monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for retail stores to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for EBOs & Track budget performance against actual results, investigate variances, and provide explanations for deviations.
Job Requirements:
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
- Min 5 Yrs experience in Retail, eCommerce, QSR sector
- Extensive understanding of financial and accounting trends both within the company and general market patterns
- Proficient user of finance software: Tally Prime
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
