Job Title: Power BI Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer to join our team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Power BI platform. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and data analysis needs and translate them into effective Power BI reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities:

Develop Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements and data analysis needs.

Design and implement data models and data integration processes to ensure accurate and efficient data visualization.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and understand data analysis needs.

Perform data analysis and data profiling to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Create and maintain documentation for Power BI solutions, including data models, report specifications, and user guides.

Optimize and fine-tune Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Power BI solutions, including data integrity and performance problems.

Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and functionalities and recommend improvements and best practices.

Conduct training sessions and provide support to end users on Power BI usage and functionality.

Collaborate with other developers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure the successful implementation and integration of Power BI solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.

Proficiency in designing and developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.

Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.

Experience in data analysis and data visualization techniques.

Understanding of business intelligence and data warehousing concepts.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.

Good communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Power BI certification.

Experience with other BI tools and technologies such as Tableau, QlikView, or Looker.

Knowledge of data modelling and data governance best practices.

Experience in data warehousing and data architecture.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Experience with programming languages such as Python
