Job Description: Chief Marketing Officer – A Client of Meru Consultancy Services


We are inviting the applications for a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Head for a Chain of Hotels. As the Marketing Head, you will be responsible for driving the Marketing strategy and overseeing all marketing functions to ensure Brand Consistency, Business Growth, Customer Engagement, and Market Leadership across all the properties within the chain. This senior leadership role requires strong experience in both Traditional and Digital Marketing, deep knowledge of the Hospitality Industry, and the ability to lead a high-performing marketing team across various locations.


Key Responsibilities:

Create and implement a thorough multi-channel marketing plan in line with the chain's positioning, long-term growth objectives, and brand objectives.

Oversee the Brand Development across all the properties to ensure consistency in Messaging, Guest Experience, and Visual Identity.

Oversee the creation of annual marketing plans, establishing precise KPIs and making sure the plan works to increase revenue, attract and retain guests, and raise brand awareness in general.

Oversee the development and administration of brand campaigns, establishing the brand as a high-end option in its particular market.

Lead the execution of Digital Marketing campaigns across SEO/SEM, PPC Advertising, Email Marketing, Content Creation, and Social Media Marketing.

Implement strategies to improve website performance, online reputation management, and Guest Engagement through Digital platforms.

Leverage data and analytics to drive decisions and optimize Digital Marketing spend, ensuring maximum ROI for campaigns.

Ensure that all the hotels CRM system is fully leveraged for customer insights, driving targeted marketing campaigns that increase repeat bookings and long-term loyalty.

Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Operations, Revenue Management) to align marketing campaigns with broader business objectives and to ensure integrated execution across the organization.

Work closely with the sales team to design and execute Promotions, Packages, and Partnerships that drive demand and enhance guest experience.

Partner with the operations and guest services teams to ensure the marketing messaging aligns with the in-hotel experience and meets guest expectations.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Define and monitor the performance of all marketing campaigns through KPIs and analytics to ensure success and identify areas for improvement.

Provide regular reports to senior leadership on marketing effectiveness, including digital metrics, campaign performance, customer feedback, and market share.

Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Senior Marketing roles with some exposure to Hospitality Industry, with a proven track record in leading marketing for hotels or multi-property Brands.

Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams across different geographies.

Extensive experience in Conventional & Digital Marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and email campaigns
