Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management and stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals and objectives.

- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Cost Management:

- Analyze operational costs and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement within the mining operations.

- Implement cost control measures to ensure budget adherence.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and collection of payments.

- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

Tax Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes.

- Prepare and submit tax returns and manage tax audits.

Audit and Compliance:

- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.

Financial Analysis:

- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to drive business performance.

Team Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, providing guidance and support in their roles.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are integrated into business strategies.

- Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations and implement best practices.

- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations affecting the mining sector.
