Job Title: Senior Art Director

Location: Koramangala, Bangalore  

Job Type: Full-time  

Reports To: Co-Founder


Overview:

- Lead creative vision and execution for high-profile corporate events (conferences, exhibitions, product launches, celebrations).

- Ensure visual components align with event strategy and client goals.

- Work with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver visually stunning events.


Key Responsibilities:

- Creative Leadership:

 - Lead development of event visuals, ensuring alignment with the client’s brand and objectives.

 - Collaborate to conceptualize and execute engaging visual experiences.

 - Drive innovative design ideas for audience engagement and memorable events.

  

- Strategic Vision:

 - Create strategies to elevate the event’s visual identity.

 - Stay updated on industry trends and integrate fresh design techniques.

 - Oversee mood boards, style guides, and design presentations for client approval.


- Art Direction & Design Oversight:

 - Lead a team of designers, ensuring quality and consistency in event visuals (stage designs, branding, signage, digital content).

 - Provide feedback and maintain design standards throughout the process.

  

- Client Interaction:

 - Translate client goals into creative visual concepts.

 - Present design strategies and concepts, ensuring client satisfaction.

 - Build strong relationships as the senior creative point of contact.


- Project & Team Management:

 - Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery.

 - Mentor junior art directors and creative team members.

 - Collaborate with production, marketing, and technical teams for cohesive event execution.


- Vendor & Production Management:

 - Manage relationships with set designers, printers, and AV companies for smooth execution.

 - Oversee visual asset production and ensure alignment with creative vision.

 - Conduct site visits and manage on-site visual setup.


- Budget Management:

 - Develop and manage visual design budgets with event management and finance teams.

 - Optimize resources and negotiate cost-effective vendor solutions without compromising quality.


Qualifications:

- Min. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field.

- 7+ years of experience in art direction, with at least 3 years in a senior role (corporate events or experiential marketing).

- Proven large-scale event design experience with a strong portfolio.

- Expertise in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite).

- Familiarity with 3D design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD) for stage/set designs.

- Strong leadership, communication (English compulsory), and organizational skills.


Key Competencies:

- Leadership and mentorship skills for creative teams.

- High-level conceptual and strategic thinking.

- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering top-quality designs.

- Adaptability and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

- Strong understanding of branding, event production, and experiential design.


Preferred:

- Experience with corporate clients in industries like tech, automobile, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing.

- Knowledge of AV technology, lighting, and stage production.

- Familiarity with international-standard event production and managing projects.
