About the Role :

Were looking for a Character Animator with strong expertise in Spine 2D and a forward-thinking approach to AI-assisted animation workflows. In this role, you'll animate compelling, high-converting characters for performance-driven mobile game marketing assetstrailers, UA ads, social videos, and more. Youll help us push visual quality and efficiency, blending traditional animation principles with next-gen tools.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Create high-quality 2D character animations using Spine for marketing campaigns, including in-game-style motion, expressive acting, and gameplay loops.

- Use AI tools (e.g., for in-betweening, mocap clean-up, generative assistance) to enhance animation workflows and improve production speed and scale.

- Work closely with storyboard artists, illustrators, motion designers, and video editors to bring characters to life in marketing content.

- Animate characters with a focus on performance, appeal, and storytelling that resonates with mobile gamers.

- Participate in creative ideation sessions and contribute animation solutions to visual challenges.

- Adapt animations based on data performance, creative testing, and audience feedback.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of experience in 2D character animation, ideally in games, marketing, or advertising.

- Proficiency with Spine 2D and a strong understanding of rigging, mesh deformation, and bone-based animation.

- Hands-on experience using AI-enhanced animation tools, or strong interest and ability to adapt quickly to them.

- Solid grasp of animation principles (timing, squash & stretch, anticipation, etc.) with a demo reel or portfolio that shows clear, expressive character work.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment with tight deadlines.

- Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with Unity or other game engines.

- Experience animating for mobile game user acquisition or performance marketing.

- Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).

- Interest in the evolving intersection of animation and AI technology.
