This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Mumbai.Responsibilities Enter day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Create and manage ledgers, groups, and voucher types Post sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal, and contra vouchers Maintain accounts payable and receivable Perform bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation Generate GST reports and handle GST/TDS-related entries Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing Extract reports like Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Ledger Summaries Verify and match vendor invoices with Tally entries Maintain Tally data backups and ensure data accuracy Support senior accountant with Tally data migration Track and update petty cash records Share required Tally reports with auditors Ensure proper voucher numbering and compliance settingsQualifications Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget management Proficiency in using accounting software like Tally, Zoho books and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance standards Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCompany Description The Villa Escape is a premium travel planning company that focuses on creating luxurious and unforgettable experiences for travelers across stunning destinations.
