About the Job:
As a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer specializing in Aircraft Interiors, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of aircraft cabin products. Your expertise will be vital in performing structural analyses of aircraft interior monuments and cabinetry composite structures. This includes assessing load cases, calculating loads, and conducting static analyses to guarantee structural integrity. Your familiarity with aircraft certification processes and FAA compliance requirements will be instrumental in supporting the certification and qualification of components.
What You’ll Do:
- Utilizing your knowledge of aircraft interiors cabin product compliance requirements.
- Conducting comprehensive structural analyses of Aircraft Interiors Monuments.
- Determining load cases, calculating loads, and performing static analyses of composite structures.
- Evaluating the structural integrity of components using classical hand calculations and finite element methods.
- Analyzing metallic and composite structures for static and fatigue properties.
- Leveraging FEM software such as ABAQUS, PATRAN/NASTRAN, and Hyperworks for finite element analysis.
- Applying your experience in aircraft certification, stress requirements, and testing procedures.
- Generating detailed documentation to report analysis and test results to support certification/qualification processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 6 to 12 years of experience in structural analysis within the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft interiors cabin product compliance requirements.
- Expertise in performing structural analysis of aircraft interior monuments.
- Hands-on experience in determining load cases, calculating loads, and conducting static analyses of composite structures.
- Ability to evaluate structural integrity using classical hand calculations and finite element methods.
- Experience in analyzing metallic and composite structures for static and fatigue properties.
- Proficiency in utilizing FEM software for finite element analysis.
- Familiarity with aircraft certification processes, stress requirements, and FAA compliance.
- Excellent documentation skills to report analysis and test results effectively.
