Role SummaryWe are looking for 5 to 12 years of experienced candidates. Stress analysis of lines related to static and rotating equipment, air coolers, heaters, etc. by using Caesar II software. Locate, design and modelling supports for various piping system and perform the required calculations.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities of the role-Stress analysis concepts and be able to solve critical stress and nozzle load Issues

  • Strong piping support design conceptsPerform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision and work effectively as a team member on all assignments.

Familiar with the ASME, API and other industry related standardsCalculate and estimated piping loads on piping racks, structures, vessel ́ s platformsCreate the stress analysis isometrics including all required data for support definitionCalculate and select variable and constant spring hangerKnowledge of pipe support, including use of snubbers, rigid struds, spring sway braces.

Prepare Requisition for Inquiry/ Purchase and Technical tabulation of piping support elements.

Prepare piping's stress analysis reports considering project specificationsPerform drawings by using 2D CAD software for non standard supportsKnowledge of material and piping codes / standardsKnowledge in pipe support detail drawings and layout drawingsDesign experience in piping, pipe support and pipe layoutCoordinate with Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation groups to ensure design suits all these departments.

Collaborate with Support / Piping Leads for optimal designExperienced in Pipe Piping design as per ASME Standards.
Experience in vendor drawing reviews and provide comments if anyKnowledge on plot plans, nozzle orientation, platform drawings, structure details and GAD's
