Description:About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Consultant with strong expertise in PL/SQL development and hands-on exposure to the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) domain.The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end application design, development, and optimization efforts while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability across business-critical systems.This role requires a strong technical foundation in Oracle PL/SQL, experience with WMS solutions, and the ability to mentor teams while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.Key Responsibilities :- Lead the design, development, and optimization of applications leveraging Oracle PL/SQL.- Architect and implement complex database solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.- Work closely with business teams to understand WMS domain requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages to support enterprise applications.- Optimize SQL queries and ensure database best practices are followed across development teams.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments.- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for junior developers.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments efficiently.- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment phases of projects.Required Skills & Experience :- 10 to 15 years of experience in application development with a strong focus on Oracle PL/SQL.- Proven experience in the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) domain (Manhattan, Oracle WMS, or similar).- Strong understanding of database performance tuning, data modeling, and SQL optimization techniques.- Hands-on experience in application integration with WMS or ERP systems.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.- Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams.Preferred Skills :- Exposure to Manhattan WMS, Oracle WMS Cloud, or similar enterprise warehouse management systems.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.- Familiarity with Unix shell scripting and data migration tools.Education :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (ref:hirist.tech)
