About the Role: The Tax Assistant manager requires to manage and completely ensure compliant recording and reporting for GST and TDS . He has to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires strong domain expertise, reconciliation skills, excel skills, and the ability to drive financial discipline on collection in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure detailed understanding for GST and TDS for the company across locations Periodic reports and submission with statutory bodies on timely basis Prepare and maintain the data in ZOHO Ensure correct TDS master and GST master, for correct rates and codes as mandatorily required. Prepare weekly and monthly reports for review. Ensure daily recording and completion of transaction in compliance with standards, act. Necessary taxation impacts and recorded correctly. Key Requirements 5+ years of proven experience in recording and maintaining of tax and GST, in the retail/fmcg/consumer goods sector . In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliances, and financial reporting . Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and financial systems . Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment . Excellent communication skills. Commerce graduates with relevant experience may also apply.
