About Position:We are hiring for Pre-sales leader with hands on experience in Proof of Concept, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Presales, Request for Proposal (RFP), Technical Solution Development.- Role: Pre-Sales Leader - Location: Pune/Noida/Gurgaon/Bangalore - Experience: 15+ years - Job Type: Full Time EmploymentWhat You'll Do:- Pre-Sales Pipeline Growth: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities to contribute to an increase in the pre-sales pipeline value each quarter. Partner with sales to grow pipeline and close strategic deals. - Customer Satisfaction Score: Develop innovative GCP-based solutions tailored to customer needs. Ensure high-quality engagements that result in increasing customer satisfaction score. - POC Success Rate: Conduct and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs) with a good success rate. - Response Time to RFPs/RFIs: Ensure timely and accurate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) within A hours/days of receipt. Ensure high-quality delivery of pre-sales engagements. - Team Productivity Metrics: Lead and mentor a team of pre-sales specialists. Contribute to and monitor team productivity through defined metrics such as number of demos delivered and proposals authored. - Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement: - Lead and facilitate customer strategy workshops to deeply understand business challenges, data landscapes, and desired outcomes. - Conduct whiteboarding sessions to collaboratively develop high-level solution approaches and architectural patterns. - Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner. - Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through data modernization, analytics, and AI/ML strategies. - Participate in proposal development and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs. - Solution Engineering & Architecture: - Design end-to-end data architectures, including data ingestion, processing, storage, governance, and consumption layers. - Develop proof-of-concept (POC) solutions to demonstrate technical feasibility, validate architectural choices, and prove value. - Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural blueprints. - Evaluate and recommend appropriate data technologies, platforms, and tools (e.g., cloud data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT tools, streaming platforms, NoSQL databases). - Ensure proposed solutions align with industry best practices, security standards, and scalability requirements. - Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation. - Technical Leadership & Evangelism: - Stay abreast of emerging data technologies, trends, and architectural patterns. - Contribute to the development of reusable architectural assets, templates, and best practices. - Mentor and guide junior team members on data architecture principles and solution design. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars as a subject matter expert.Expertise You'll Bring:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role, with a strong emphasis on pre-sales and solution design. - Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions across various industries. - Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) including services like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, etc. - Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT processes, streaming data architectures, and data governance. - Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) for data manipulation and automation. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. - Certifications in cloud platforms or data architecture are a plus.Benefits:- Competitive salary and benefits package - Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies - Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards - Annual health check-ups - Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parentsValues-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment:Persistent Ltd. is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
