SAP FICO Consultant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented SAP FICO Consultant with a strong understanding of financial and controlling processes in SAP.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP FICO modules, with the ability to map business processes, optimize workflows, and provide end-to-end financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and support SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA).

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

- Perform system configuration, testing, and documentation for SAP FICO modules.

- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements.

- Work on integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

- Conduct user training and create training documentation for finance users.

- Ensure SAP FICO configurations align with business and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience in both implementation and support roles.

- Deep knowledge of financial accounting and controlling processes.

- Experience in at least 1 full-cycle SAP FICO implementation.

- Strong configuration skills in GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, and IO.

- Solid understanding of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work closely with finance teams, auditors, and cross-functional IT teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in S/4HANA Finance (nice to have).

- Knowledge of taxation rules, GST, TDS, and international accounting standards.

- Familiarity with SAP Reporting Tools (e.g., Report Painter, SAP Query).

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

- SAP FICO certification is highly desirable
