Job Description: ServiceNow Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions. The architect will be responsible for defining the overall platform architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, development teams, and process owners to deliver robust ServiceNow implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow platform solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, and other modules.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected ServiceNow solutions that best leverage the platform's capabilities.
  • Define and enforce ServiceNow architectural standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development/configuration teams.
  • Oversee integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, etc.
  • Drive automation, self-service, and workflow optimization initiatives within ServiceNow.
  • Conduct platform health checks, performance optimization, and security reviews.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to create roadmaps for ServiceNow platform adoption and expansion.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases, new features, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 8+ years in ServiceNow implementation and architecture roles.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, SecOps.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), workflows, Flow Designer, and Service Portal.
  • Proven track record of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solution design and integrations.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, security models, and performance tuning in ServiceNow.
  • ServiceNow certifications preferred:
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM/ITOM/HR/CSM, etc.)
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
