Job Description :


We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Consultant with a strong background in General Ledger (GL) and core financial modules like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and General Ledger (GL). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle R12.2 EBS, with a primary focus on GL support projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide support for Oracle General Ledger including :

- FSG Report creation and maintenance

- Journal processing, auto-reversal, and auto-posting

- Maintaining segment values

- Troubleshooting within GL and custom GL processes

- Program scheduling, managing request groups and FSG report sets

- Understand new business requirements and propose appropriate solutions.

- Write functional specifications and coordinate with the technical team.

- Test functionalities and train end users regularly.

- Provide regular updates to users and stakeholders regarding enhancement statuses.

- Collaborate with functional teams across zones to share insights and solutions.

- Report progress and activity to management effectively.

Required Skills :

- Strong functional expertise in Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA)

- Solid experience in GL processes and support

- Experience with India Localization and GST (Note : Not mandatory for this role)

- Good understanding of project life cycle methodologies (AIM, OUM)

- Strong client interaction and communication skills (written & verbal)

- Basic understanding of SQL, PL/SQL

- Familiarity with tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, PuTTY, and version control systems

- Knowledge of best practices for code migration and instance management

Preferred Attributes :

- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player

- Proactive in identifying issues and proposing process improvements

- Professional demeanor suitable for a banking environment

Additional Details :

Work Mode : Full-time onsite at Dwarka Sector 10, Delhi

Schedule : 5-day work week with alternate Saturdays working

We need a resource for Oracle General Ledger support project, who should have experience in

- FSG Reports(Creating and Defining new reports)

- Journal Processing, auto reversal, auto posting, maintaining segment values.

- Trouble shoot with in GL and custom processing.

- Should have basic knowledge of using SQL queries.

- Scheduling programs, request group and FSG report set.

Who can understand new requirements :

- Should have good communication skills to interact with bank officials.

- Ready to work on alternate Saturdays and full-time work at Office in Dwarka Delhi.

- Oracle R12.2 EBS Functional consultant with strong functional knowledge of AP, AR, GL, FA modules.

- Have worked extensively on India Localization and GST.

- Define priorities, Write functional specifications and coordinate developments with technical team.

- Test and train the users regularly, communicate to the users the status of the enhancement.

- Report activity to the management and collaborate with functional support in other zones to share information.

- The positions primary responsibility will be to interface with key stakeholders in the client organization to effectively support task assigned.

- Excellent understanding of full project life cycle and Oracle Implementation methodologies including AIM, OUM.

- Excellent client management and communication (written and oral) skills.

- Best practices in promoting code to instances.

- Basic Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL.

- Basic Knowledge of tools like SQL Developer, Toad, Putty, version control systems.

- Strong team players who value the success of the team as highly as their own personal success.
