This role ensures that all fabric meets required quality standards, is efficiently handled, and aligns with production schedules. The position demands strong coordination with sourcing, merchandising, quality, and production teams to optimize fabric utilization and minimize wastage or delays.Responsibilities- Oversee fabric receipt, GRN preparation, tagging, and ERP/manual entry - Conduct fabric inspections (4-point/10-point), coordinate lab testing, and resolve QA issues - Align with sourcing and merchandising teams on fabric requirements and delivery timelines - Monitor inventory, utilization, and wastage; manage supplier claims and replacements - Supervise warehouse handling, documentation, and safety standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree / Diploma in Textile Technology, Fabric Management, or related field.8+ years of experience in fabric management in an apparel manufacturing setup (woven/knits). Strong understanding of fabric types, testing standards, and quality protocols.
