We are looking for aProduct Development / PD Merchandiserwith strong technical knowledge, a sharp sense of design, and the ability to deliver results within tight timelines.Role Overview The PD Designer will be responsible for managing the complete product development cycle from interpreting buyer tech packs to delivering finished samples while maintaining strict adherence to timelines and quality standards. The role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities Plan and manage development timelinesfor each style to ensure on-time sample submissions to buyers. Translatebuyer tech packs, mood boards, and inspiration referencesinto feasible product designs. Coordinate daily withsampling, pattern, and tailoring teamsto ensure smooth workflow and progress tracking. Follow up proactivelywith internal departments (fabric, trims, embroidery, washing, etc.) to meet sampling deadlines. Maintain and updateproduct development trackers, sample status reports, and design library Conductfit sessionsand make necessary design or technical adjustments based onbuyer feedback . Anticipate potential delays and take timely corrective action to avoid bottlenecks. Ensure every sample is developed as per buyer standards both technically and aesthetically before dispatch. Support merchandisers and designers with product ideas, technical inputs, and innovation during development. Maintain clear communication and daily progress updates with reporting managers.Candidate Requirements Minimum5–6 years of experienceingarment exports , with hands-on involvement insampling and product development . Strong understanding ofinternational buyer tech packs , garment construction, and development processes. Proven ability tohandle multiple developments simultaneouslyand deliver withintight timelines . Practical, on-floor experience working withtailors, pattern masters, and production teams . Excellent time management, follow-up, and documentation skills. Proficiency inExcel Prior experience withUK, EU, or US buyers(especially womenswear categories). Highly organised, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven with a solution-oriented approach.Education Bachelor’s or Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or Apparel Technology from a recognised institute.Location Gurgaon, Haryana (On-site position; candidates from Gurgaon are highly preferred)
