Position Overview:


We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI/ML models that drive the automation of RCM processes on our platform. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists to build scalable AI solutions that deliver tangible results.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to automate RCM processes, including claims processing, coding, and eligibility verification.
  • Algorithm Optimization: Optimize AI/ML algorithms for performance, accuracy, and scalability within a cloud-native, multi-tenant environment.
  • Data Processing: Work with large-scale healthcare data sets to preprocess and transform data for model training and inference.
  • MLOps: Implement MLOps best practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, model versioning, and monitoring.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI/ML models into production systems, ensuring seamless integration and real-time processing.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply cutting-edge techniques to solve complex RCM challenges.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor model performance in production, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on models to improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Documentation: Document model development processes, including design decisions, testing procedures, and performance metrics.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.


  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a strong track record of deploying models in production.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with RCM processes, is highly desirable.


  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in other languages such as .NET being a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Cloud) and distributed computing.
  • Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Gen AI solution pipeline engineering, RAG, Evaluations
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Large Language Modeling and Transformer Architectures (BERT, GPT, etc.)
  • Understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).


  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision in healthcare.
  • Knowledge of explainable AI (XAI) and AI ethics principles.
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies.
