About the Business Unit

The Languages business encompasses all non-English or Indic Brands within the Times Internet portfolio, featuring a presence in eight regional languages across India, including Navbharat Times in Hindi, Maharashtra Times in Marathi, Vijay Karnataka in Kannada, Samayam in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, and I am Gujarat.

Our Languages division stands as the fastest-growing regional content platform in India. We have an audience base of 180 million users, with approximately one in every four Indians engaging with Times Internet Languages Platforms. We are the leading news and information player in the Indic Languages category on Comscore. We have maintained this dominance for several years now.

Diversity is at the heart of our community. Our audience is predominantly young, primarily below the age of 34 and has a strong female presence. We have a strong presence on social platforms with 24Mn followers on Facebook and 14Mn subscribers on Youtube, as on 15th Apr'24.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Multimedia Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6–9 years of experience in creating engaging tech content, strong on-camera and production skills, and the ability to present complex technology in a clear, dynamic, and audience-friendly manner.

Work Responsibilities

• Present tech content, reviews, and trends on camera.
• Script, rehearse, and deliver engaging video segments.
• Conduct product demos, unboxings, and hands-on showcases.
• Collaborate with writers, producers, and editors.
• Research emerging gadgets and industry trends.
• Suggest and develop new content ideas.
• Engage audience across YouTube and social media.

Skills, Experience & Expertise

• 6–9 years on-camera anchoring/hosting experience.
• Strong knowledge of gadgets, consumer tech, and innovations.
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Proficient in scriptwriting for digital platforms.
• Confident in live or unscripted formats.
• Familiar with YouTube content strategies & best practices.
• Basic knowledge of video production tools (bonus).

Eligibility

• 6–9 years relevant media/anchoring experience.
• Strong team player and adaptable to digital media workflows.
