Essential Functions

  • Champion the use of Microsoft 365 and Azure services as appropriate to support KIND staff and organizational initiatives.
  • Manage and monitor Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including system outages.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure infrastructure and Entra ID, Exchange Online, and all related services.
  • Contributes to the design, implementation, and maintenance of KIND’s infrastructure architecture.
  • Implement and maintain 3rd party integrations, including but not limited to Single Sign-On
  • Contribute to the development of data retention policy and manage the Microsoft 365’s DLP configuration accordingly.
  • Monitor, manage and maintain field office infrastructure to include firewalls, wireless access points, and ISP quality of service.
  • Administer and manage all aspects of Microsoft Intune, including Autopilot and associated compliance policies.
  • Work with the Enterprise Technology Solutions team to administer, manage, and maintain SharePoint Online.
  • Work with the Enterprise Technology Solutions team to administer, manage, and maintain Microsoft Defender for Office, Defender for Endpoint, and associated security policies.
  • Participate in security incident analysis and remediation.
  • Assist with the adoption of new Microsoft 365 solutions and processes, including the creation of training materials and other documentation.
  • Participate in gathering and analysis of business requirements for new software and enterprise applications.
  • Manage and maintain software licenses.
  • Act as mentor for junior staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration
  • 5 years of experience with Azure Active Directory/Entra ID and Exchange Online
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Experience and proficiency with Azure Cloud resource optimization
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Autopilot
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Power Automate
  • Experience and proficiency with PowerShell and Graph
  • Experience with data retention, and backup and recovery policies and procedures enforcement
  • Microsoft certifications a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and effectively contribute to group prioritization.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds, lived experiences, and communication styles.
