Job Overview:

The Sales Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient sales processes. This position will involve tracking sales orders, maintaining sales records, coordinating communication between departments, assisting with customer inquiries, and contributing to the overall success of the sales department.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks, such as processing orders, maintaining sales records, track monthly sales to cause sales
  • Order Management: Monitor and track sales orders from initial inquiry to delivery, ensuring timely fulfilment and delivery to customers, ensuring delivery confirmation calls to customers on a timely basis.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the sales team, customers, and other internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance, marketing, production team) to ensure smooth execution of orders.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products or services.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain sales data, generate reports, and track sales performance to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Inventory Coordination: Work closely with inventory or warehouse teams to monitor stock levels and ensure product availability. Generate stock reports based on sales done.
  • Scheduling: Assist in scheduling sales meetings, client visits, product demonstrations, and other sales-related events.
  • CRM Management(Customer Relationship Management) & ERP: Update and maintain the CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Sales Documentation: Prepare and maintain sales-related documentation such as contracts, purchase orders, and quotations.
  • Market Research: Gather competitor and market intelligence to assist the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and trends.


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is typically preferred, though not always required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales support or administrative roles, preferably in a sales environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure that all sales-related documentation is complete and correct.
  • CRM and ERP Software Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP- TALLY & Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Sheet and other sales tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to address issues and resolve problems promptly to ensure smooth operations.


Desirable Skills:
  • Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales or marketing roles is a plus.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support colleagues as needed.
Work Environment:
  • Location: Typically based in an office setting (On-site)
  • Work Hours: Full-time position with standard office hours, but flexibility may be required to meet deadlines or attend sales events.
  • Salary: 3 to 3.3 LPA (Negotiable)
