Job Title: Head of Curriculum and Enrichment - Academics and Extracurriculars


Location: Bangalore


Role Overview: We seek an experienced Curriculum Head to lead our academic and extracurricular programs. You will be instrumental in crafting a curriculum that is both academically rigorous and rich in diverse extracurricular offerings, ensuring a holistic educational experience for our young learners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive early childhood curriculum framework aligned with best practices and specific developmental milestones.
  • Plan themes, curriculum, and lesson plans that nurture academic excellence.
  • Design and curate a diverse range of extracurricular activities to foster creativity, exploration, physical development, and social skills.
  • Source and collaborate with external partners for specialised programs (e.g., music, dance, sports partnerships).
  • Design and deliver workshops for both academic teachers and enrichment activity instructors.
  • Mentor and coach to ensure all educators have the expertise to provide exceptional learning experiences.
  • Conduct assessments to measure the effectiveness of academic and extracurricular programs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and parents to refine offerings.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in early childhood education and enrichment.
  • Leverage technology effectively to plan, monitor, and assess learning in both academic and extracurricular areas.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6-10 years in early childhood education, with experience in both academic and extracurricular settings.
  • Demonstrated success in leading curriculum design and educator training.
  • A deep understanding of various educational pedagogies and the ability to blend them creatively.


Skills:

  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and office software.
  • Adaptability, ethical integrity, and a forward-thinking mindset.


Must Haves

  • AMI certified teacher 0-6 years is must.
  • Deep Understanding of Montessori Philosophy In-depth knowledge of Maria Montessori’s principles, theories, and educational philosophy is crucial
  • Child-centered Approach Should understand how to design materials and activities that respect each child’s unique pace of learning and interests.
  • Curriculum Planning and Implementation Creators should be skilled in developing a comprehensive curriculum that covers various domains: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies.
