Network Engineer

Description :Key Responsibilities : - Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), including routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.- Manage and support co-location data center networking environments ensuring high availability and performance.- Work with virtualized data center technologies, including Hyper-V networking, to support cloud and on-premises infrastructure.- Monitor, debug, and administer network performance using various network monitoring and administration tools.- Collaborate with security teams to configure and manage firewalls and load balancers, ensuring secure and efficient external access to single-tenant applications.- Provide deep understanding and support for application integration and service stacks running on virtualized compute platforms.- Utilize familiarity with Azure networking concepts to support hybrid cloud environments.- Troubleshoot network issues related to data, voice, and video technologies ensuring minimal downtime.- Document network configurations, processes, and incident resolutions to maintain comprehensive network knowledge base.Qualifications :- 5 to 8 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in enterprise and data center environments.- Strong experience with co-location data center networking.- Hands-on knowledge of virtualized data center networking, especially Hyper-V.- Solid understanding of wired and wireless data, voice, and video network technologies.- Proven skills in enterprise LAN/WAN design and network device configuration and troubleshooting.- Experience with network monitoring, debugging, and administration tools.- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure networking concepts and services.- Experience configuring and managing firewalls and load balancers for secure application access.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Preferred Skills :- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Azure Network Associate, or equivalent are a plus.- Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation tools.- Knowledge of cloud networking best practices and hybrid cloud deployments.
