Principal UX Designer

Location: Remote

Report into: Design Director


As you advance your career, you'll flourish in a dynamic, team-oriented, and results-driven environment at Yuj. We seek individuals with substantial experience in applying critical thinking to shape and justify designs for intricate B2B, web applications, and business systems.


As a Principal UX Designer, you will:

  • Lead and manage multiple UX projects by identifying and addressing business and user needs.
  • Implement comprehensive user-centered design methodologies and processes.
  • Plan and conduct both primary and secondary research.
  • Transform user insights into compelling concept designs, exploring diverse ideas to tackle business challenges from multiple perspectives.
  • Oversee all interaction design activities, ensuring seamless coordination with global visual designers.
  • Present design decisions to stakeholders, supported by robust experience design principles and rationale.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure designs are realized with pixel-perfect precision.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication at all levels, ensuring high-quality, timely project deliverables.
  • Guide and mentor design team members to achieve success.


Must have qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of hands-on experience in user-centered design processes.
  • Expertise in executing projects using UCD methodology.
  • Proven experience designing for various devices and systems, including mobile, handheld, TV, and display systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, management, negotiation, presentation, and client relations skills.
  • Ability to initiate and lead business discussions with program managers, CTOs, CIOs, and CEOs.
  • A clear and compelling presentation style to influence key design decisions and maintain credibility.
  • A strong passion for observing human behavior and translating insights into design.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to efficiently manage personal timelines while adhering to strategic and tactical direction from project stakeholders.
