The company aims to create a dynamic work environment fostering creativity and innovation.Role DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- Accessory Coordination:- Ensure all necessary accessories for each style are easily accessible and organized. - Arrange accessory pieces with vendors as per the requirements of each style.- Vendor Communication:- Forward CAD images to vendors for layering and ensure clear understanding. - Maintain daily follow-up with vendors to update the status of each style.- Pre-Production Sample (PPS) Follow-up:- Track the progress of pre-production samples. - Ensure timely submission of a complete sample after fit approval.- Fabric Management:- Provide cutting details and immediately return any remaining fabric after cutting. - Follow up with vendors to return balance fabric and completed pieces as quickly as possible.- Vendor Visits and Quality Control:- Conduct regular visits to vendors to ensure proper updating of issued styles. - Perform in-line quality control checks to maintain production standards.- Costing and Billing:- Prepare final cost sheets for each style. - Update data for individual vendors and styles. - Check, verify, and process vendor bills for the billing accountant.Qualifications:- Proven experience in garment merchandising or a related field. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant CAD softwarePreferred:- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field. - Experience in vendor management and quality control in the garment industry.Work Environment:- This role requires both office work and regular visits to vendor locations. - The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
