About the Role :
ZeroFox is seeking a Business Systems Administrator to drive operational excellence across our sales, marketing, and operations teams by optimizing and maintaining our Salesforce.com (SFDC) ecosystem and integrated business applications. This role requires strong technical proficiency in Salesforce administration, process automation, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high system performance, process scalability, and user adoption.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing efficient, user-focused business system solutions, delivering actionable insights from data, and enabling process improvements that directly enhance sales productivity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Administration & Configuration :
- Manage end-to-end SFDC administration including custom objects/fields, process builder, flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, and Lightning app customization.
- Configure advanced reporting & dashboards for leadership-level visibility into sales performance, forecasting, and operational KPIs.
- Maintain SFDC security models roles/profiles, field-level security, permission sets, and sharing rules to ensure compliance and data protection.
2. Business Systems & Application Management :
- Oversee Salesforce.com and its integrated tech stack (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo, LeanData) to maximize operational efficiency.
- Lead QA/UAT cycles in sandbox environments and deploy configurations via change sets or other deployment tools.
- Administer related applications in the revenue operations ecosystem, ensuring data integrity and seamless system interoperability.
3. Data Management & Governance :
- Perform data imports/exports, cleansing, and deduplication using Data Loader or similar tools.
- Implement data governance best practices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
4. Sales Operations Support :
- Support sales forecasting processes by collaborating with the CRO, Sales Ops Manager, and Sales Leadership to ensure reporting accuracy at all business levels.
- Manage territory definitions and assignments within SFDC to align with sales strategies.
- Evaluate campaign, product, and territory performance to guide strategic decisions.
5. Process Optimization & Training :
- Analyze, document, and optimize sales and operations processes to improve productivity and scalability.
- Conduct onboarding and ongoing training sessions for sales and operations teams on SFDC functionality, integrated tools, and best practices.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable system solutions.
Qualifications & Skills :
Required :
- Salesforce.com Administrator Certification (Admin 201).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, Approval Processes), CPQ configuration, and currency management.
- Experience with QA/UAT processes, sandbox environments, and deployment methods.
- Proficiency with data manipulation tools (e.g., Data Loader).
- Proven problem-solving, change management, and process improvement skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and training delivery.
Preferred :
- Experience in a technology industry, startup, or high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with sales-related business applications (Outreach, ZoomInfo, LeanData).
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration in sales, marketing, and operations teams.
