Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Agarbatti Manufacturing & Sales

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Experience: 15+ years in FMCG/Consumer Goods/Manufacturing & Distribution; 5+ years in senior leadership (COO/VP Ops/Business Head). First Preferred: Agarbatti/Incense experience (manufacturing, sourcing, fragrance, packaging, distribution). Strong FMCG leaders from adjacent categories may apply.

Salary: 30-40 LPA + Bonus + Optional ESOPs

About Us:

A reputed - 100+ crore Kolkata-based business house expanding into premium incense & fragrance products, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern branding for domestic & export - Co-own growth strategy & plans (domestic + exports) with budgets/OKRs

- Lead plant operations (in-house/partner), QC, lean manufacturing & yield improvement

- Build vendor base & supply chain for raw materials, packaging & co-packers

- Drive logistics & distribution (OTIF - 95%), GT, MT, e-commerce & D2C channels

- Build & mentor cross-functional teams, set KRAs & review cadence

- Ensure compliance with factory, GST, labour & packaging norms

Success Metrics (12-18 months):

- OEE & yield gains, cost efficiency, OTIF - 95%, NPD launches on time, state coverage expansion, working capital targets met, zero major compliance issues.

- Qualifications: MBA/PGDM or equivalent, proven manufacturing scale-up experience, incense/FMCG background preferred, strong P&L & ERP skills.
