Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Python Lead to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad.

In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Python developers, drive the technical direction of projects, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Python applications, as well as fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.

Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Python developers, providing technical expertise and support.

- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote best practices.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

- Design and architect robust and scalable Python applications.

- Make key technical decisions and provide guidance on technology choices.

- Lead the planning and execution of complex projects.

- Ensure the maintainability, performance, and security of Python applications.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.

- Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and backend systems using Python frameworks (e., Django, Flask, FastAPI).

- Implement and optimize database interactions (e., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.

- Manage project scope, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery.

- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Python trends and technologies.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

- Drive innovation and encourage experimentation within the team.

Required Capabilities :

- 6+ years of experience in Python development.

- Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.

- Strong understanding of Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).

- Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL).

- Experience with API development and web services.

- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Experience with data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
