About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager or Manager for Hotel Corporate Sales. This pivotal role involves driving business development in the corporate segment, maximizing room occupancy, managing OTA partnerships, and overseeing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) coordination to achieve ambitious revenue goals. You will be instrumental in expanding our market share and strengthening our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Sales Development: Drive corporate sales by identifying and actively targeting potential business clients, including companies, organizations, and travel agencies.
- Room Sales & Revenue Growth: Strategically manage room sales to maximize both occupancy and revenue, while ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction.
- OTA Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) to ensure optimal hotel visibility, competitive pricing, and effective channel management.
- MICE Coordination: Oversee Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) sales, working closely with clients from inquiry to execution to deliver seamless and memorable event experiences.
- Hotel Contracting: Negotiate and manage contracts with corporate clients, ensuring favorable terms and rates that align with the hotel's revenue goals and profitability.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with corporate clients to secure repeat business, build loyalty, and foster positive word-of-mouth referrals.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, analyze competitor strategies, and pinpoint new opportunities for growth within the hospitality sector.
- Sales Strategies: Design and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve aggressive revenue targets and expand our market share.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams such as the front office, housekeeping, banquet staff, and IT, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery for all corporate bookings and events.
- Reporting & Metrics: Track sales performance metrics meticulously, utilizing CRM tools to evaluate success, identify areas for improvement, and generate insightful reports for management.
What Makes You a Good Fit:
- Hotel Sales Experience ONLY: A minimum of 2 years of experience (e.g., 3-7 years) in hotel sales, with a specific focus on corporate sales and room sales.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding market share within the hospitality industry.
- Corporate Client Focus: Strong understanding of the corporate sales landscape, including client acquisition and relationship management.
- OTA Proficiency: Experience managing relationships with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and optimizing online presence.
- MICE Knowledge: Familiarity with MICE sales processes and coordination.
- Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills.
- Analytical Ability: Capable of conducting market analysis and developing data-driven sales strategies.
