About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL, along with a strong background in modern data warehousing practices, schema design, and performance tuning. You will play a key role in optimizing database structures and supporting analytics initiatives across the organization.Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement scalable database schemas, migration scripts, and indexing strategies for large datasets.- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to support modern data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and reporting frameworks.- Optimize query performance and troubleshoot complex database issues to ensure high availability, data integrity, and efficient execution.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth database integration and data flow across environments.- Implement and maintain best practices for database security, backup, and disaster recovery.Required Experience & Skills : - Proven experience as a Database Developer, with hands-on expertise in Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL.- Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design.- Experience working with ETL processes, data migration, and analytics workloads.- Proficiency in creating and maintaining migration scripts and indexing strategies.- Good understanding of data modeling, data governance, and warehouse architecture.- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
