Business Development Manager – Asia Pacific
(Fragrance, Food & Flavor Ingredients - Natural Extracts)
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Expansion:
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food and flavor ingredients and natural extracts sectors across Asia Pacific.
•Drive growth by expanding into new verticals and markets.
•Develop strong relationships with potential clients, focusing on food and beverage manufacturers, seasonings companies, and related industries.
• Sales Strategy & Execution:
•Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy in collaboration with senior management, technical, and sourcing teams.
•Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
•Consistently meet or exceed sales targets to support year-on-year growth.
• Customer Relationship Management:
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and delivering tailored product solutions.
•Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
•Gather and use customer feedback to continuously improve offerings and expand the product portfolio based on market demand.
Qualifications:
•5-10 years of business development or technical sales experience, with a proven track record in the food, flavor, or natural extracts industries.
•Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A technical background in food science, chemistry, or a related field is an advantage.
•Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies. Strong customer relationship management expertise.
•Fluency in English is required.
