If this appeals to you, please read onJob Title: Field Installation ManagerLocation: CoimbatoreWe are seeking a resourceful and results-oriented Field Installation Manager to oversee and manage our equipment installations across customer sites. This role will ensure smooth execution of installation projects, alignment with customer expectations, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The Field Installation Manager will coordinate across internal teams, contractors, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of installations, while building a reliable and scalable field operations capability. The successful candidate will be a strong planner and executor, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on leader with a customer-first mindset.The role requires an independent and well-rounded leader who can create and implement Services strategy.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Plan, manage, and execute equipment installation projects across customer sites in India and abroad. - Lead installation teams (internal & contractor resources) and ensure proper training, supervision, and compliance with company standards. - Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service teams to ensure installation readiness, including site surveys, material availability, and documentation. - Develop and maintain installation project schedules and ensure on-time delivery. - Ensure all installations meet quality, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements. - Act as the primary point of contact for customers during installations, providing updates, addressing issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. - Monitor and optimize field resources, tools, and processes to achieve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Document lessons learned from installations and work with Engineering to improve design-for-installation aspects. - Support field service & technical support teams with smooth handover post-installation, ensuring the system is operational. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives in field installation practicesRequirements:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). - Experience: 5+ years of experience in field installations, project execution, or site management, preferably in capital equipment, semiconductor, or industrial equipment sectors. - Strong project management and organizational skills. - Hands-on experience in managing technical teams at customer sites. - Ability to lead cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Operations, and Service teams. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage customers and internal stakeholders. - Willingness to travel frequently (up to 40%) across India and overseas as required. - Proven ability to manage multiple installation projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Compensation:YES offers a stimulating and fun working environment, competitive salaries and benefits, and long-term incentives.Additional Information:YES is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
