About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Android Developer to join our fast-growing fintech/digital banking team in Noida.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, secure, and scalable mobile applications for the Android platform.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about technology, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to building robust and user-friendly mobile solutions that drive innovation in the financial Responsibilities :

- Design and develop native Android applications using Java and Kotlin.

- Build advanced and scalable applications that meet performance, reliability, and security standards.

- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to enhance application functionality.

- Ensure code quality through unit testing, instrumentation testing, and automated UI tests.

- Debug and resolve application issues and crashes.

- Optimize app performance (memory, battery, data usage, etc.

- Identify bottlenecks and improve application responsiveness and stability.

- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QA teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Conduct and participate in peer code reviews and architecture discussions.

- Stay updated with the latest Android SDK changes, libraries, tools, and mobile development trends.

- Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve development efficiency and app quality.

- Contribute ideas for app improvement, innovation, and product Qualifications & Technical Skills :

- Bachelors/Masters Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Android app development.

- Proficient in Java and Kotlin.

- Solid understanding of Android SDK components: Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers, and Content Providers.

- Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and ADB.

- Strong grasp of UI/UX design principles, Material Design Guidelines, and responsive layouts.

- Familiarity with XML, Jetpack components, LiveData, ViewModel, and Room database.

- Experience with SQLite, Room, or other local databases.

- Solid knowledge of Git and version control workflows Familiarity with Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications).

- Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger/Hilt) is a plus.

- Knowledge of security best practices for mobile application development
