At Visy India, their technology hub in Hyderabad, they are expanding their technical capabilities to support their global business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the DevOps team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment processes. Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and automation tools.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all DevOps processes.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Manage incident response and RCA processes to ensure high availability.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps.

Experience & Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps or system engineering roles, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience dealing with critical issues
  • Leadership competency in orchestrating team efforts to drive results and improvement

Skills (Technical, Business, Leadership):

  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding of Agile development methods
  • Experience implementing and managing infrastructure-as-code.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams.
  • Relevant certifications in DevOps and cloud technologies such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), are a plus.
  • Project management skills
  • Familiarity with agile and DevSecOps practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, networks, server administration, cloud technologies and security
