Responsibilities

Job Description

- Provide investment research support to global asset managers investing in credit instruments.

- Initiate/maintain multiple deliverables, such as financial models, screeners, research notes for the companies/industries under coverage.

- Conduct detailed capital structure and covenant analysis.

- Prepare earnings summaries, credit outlook, and writeups on investment pros and cons for companies under coverage.

- Effectively communicate ideas and research findings to clients.

- Manage multiple clients and stakeholders and ensure, prioritise, and execute multiple assignments with tight deadlines.

- Train junior analysts and review their work.

- Ensure adherence to high quality standards and industry best practices.

Job Requirement

Skills Required

- Sound experience in credit research (4+ years).

- Exposure to US/European capital markets.

- Deep understanding of capital/corporate structure and various debt documents.

- Experience in writing reports.

- Strong excel modelling and analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to independently execute assignments under tight deadlines.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Team player with professional demeanour.

Advantageous Skills

- Knowledge of third-party databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, Thomson Reuters, etc.

Academic Requirements: MBA or equivalent qualification in finance from a reputed institution / CFA.
