Job Description:


Risk Assessment & Analytics:

  • Utilize SAS tools to analyze risk exposures and develop risk assessment models.
  • Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate potential vulnerabilities.


Model Development & Validation:

  • Design, implement, and validate predictive models for credit, market, operational, or compliance risk.
  • Ensure models adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices (e.g., Basel III, IFRS 9).


Data Management:

  • Gather, clean, and manage large datasets using SAS for accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to monitor risk metrics.


Compliance & Reporting:

  • Prepare risk management reports for stakeholders, regulators, and internal committees.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., CCAR, CECL) and support audit processes.


Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with risk managers, data scientists, and business units to align risk strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving risk frameworks.


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in risk management, financial analytics, or SAS programming.
  • Strong proficiency in SAS (Base, Enterprise Guide, or Viya) and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of financial risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk metrics.
