Key Responsibilities Strategic Procurement & Category Leadership Lead end-to-end procurement activities for advertising and agency services, including strategy development, sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management. - Develop multi-year category strategies that align with Marketing and Corporate objectives, enabling BMS brands to win in competitive marketplaces. Drive the evolution and optimization of the new Agency operating model, ensuring seamless collaboration, competitive pricing, and strategic value creation. Maintain deep knowledge of advertising industry trends, pricing models, production best practices, and emerging agency capabilities.- Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other matrixed teams to support campaign, brand, and launch strategies. Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and Agency partners, ensuring alignment on expectations, deliverables, and performance. - Support business partners in evaluating Agency scopes, optimizing budgets, and improving ROI on marketing investments. Supplier & Agency Management Manage relationships with key Agency partners, ensuring they deliver high-quality creative, media, content, and production services. Establish performance metrics and routine business reviews to ensure accountability and continuous improvement. - Drive innovation by identifying and introducing new Agency partners, technologies, or creative capabilities that support evolving brand needs. Financial Management & Value Delivery Lead cost analysis, benchmarking, total cost of ownership assessments, and value modeling to support strategic decision-making. - Ensure strong fiscal discipline, cost transparency, and compliance with procurement policies and financial controls. Identify and realize savings, efficiencies, and performance improvements across the advertising procurement category. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all Agency engagements align with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, data privacy, and compliance standards. Support risk assessments and define contingency plans for supplier performance issues or operational disruptions. - Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and processes following global procurement standards. Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field; advanced degree preferred. - 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Marketing Procurement, or Advertising/Media Agency account management. Strong understanding of advertising, media, digital marketing, creative production, and agency ecosystem dynamics. Demonstrated success in building category strategies and managing complex supplier portfolios. - Preferred Skills & Competencies Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills. Experience working with global teams and large-scale Agency networks.
