Apps Script Lead Engineer (Google Apps Script)Exp: 8+ yearsDuration: 6 monthsMandatory Skills / Technology: VBA logic patternsLocation: India (Remote)Other nice to have skills: Other nice to have skillsGCP Workspace integrations, quotas, and best practicesJob Description:- 5–8 years of experience in scripting or automation development, with at least 2–3 years in Google Apps Script. - Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and experience using HTMLService, triggers, Sheets API, Drive API, and Gmail API. - Strong understanding of Excel/VBA logic, events, data operations, and typical automation patterns. - Familiarity with GCP Workspace integrations, quotas, and best practices. - Experience working in agile delivery models and using Git-based version control. - Ability to guide junior developers and review code effectively. - Strong debugging and problem-solving mindset. - Patient, collaborative, and comfortable supporting non-technical users. - Able to explain trade-offs, constraints, and alternatives clearly.Duties to be performed- This role requires deep expertise in Apps Script, a strong understanding of VBA logic patterns, and the ability to guide developers, review code, and deliver high-quality automation conversions.
