Role Overview
As a Finance Manager at BuildNext, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the companys financial operations. Your role will encompass budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis to ensure sound financial management. You will ensure compliance with all financial regulations, prepare detailed financial reports, conduct risk management, and provide strategic financial recommendations to support sustainable business growth. Collaboration with various departments to optimize financial performance will be a key part of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities aligned with company goals.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports including profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with statutory financial regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to safeguard company assets.
- Provide strategic insights and financial recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and drive cost efficiencies.
- Monitor financial metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Utilize financial software and tools to maintain accurate and timely financial Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Master's or Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning &
analysis (FP&A).
- Proven experience in preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory
requirements.
- Solid knowledge of risk management and strategic financial planning.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work within a team environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
- Additional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA are a plus.
