Profile Summary:

As an iOS Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver exceptional mobile experiences to our users. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in iOS app development, a deep understanding of mobile technologies, and a passion for creating user-friendly and performant iOS applications.


Key Responsibilities:

iOS App Development:

  • Lead the development of native iOS applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, performant, and adhere to best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior iOS engineers, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Architecture and Design:
  • Collaborate with architects and designers to define the architecture and user experience of iOS applications.


Code Quality:

  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Promote a culture of clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Integration and APIs:
  • Integrate with backend services and third-party APIs to enable robust and dynamic app features.


Performance Optimization:

  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize app performance for various iOS devices and OS versions.

Security

  • Implement security best practices to protect user data and application integrity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define and refine app requirements and features.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API documentation, and code documentation.

Troubleshooting:

  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by users, providing timely resolutions.
  • Stay Current:
  • Stay up to date with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an iOS Developer or Senior iOS Developer, with a strong background in iOS app development.
  • Strong programming skills in Swift and Objective-C.
  • Experience with iOS app development tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of iOS design patterns and best practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and influence team members.
  • Knowledge of app distribution, including the App Store submission and updates.
  • Knowledge of mobile app testing and automation is a plus.
