About the Role: We seek a skilled iOS Developer to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon, Haryana, and work on an existing mobile application. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-performance iOS applications, well-versed in Swift and Objective-C, and has experience with modern development frameworks and methodologies. You will work closely with our product and design teams to deliver top-notch mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Implement features based on MVC, MVVM, and other architectural patterns.
- Manage and optimize background tasks, processing, and multi-threading using GCD (Grand Central Dispatch) with Serial & Concurrent Queues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Utilize RESTful APIs to integrate backend services.
- Refactor and optimize existing codebases for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Ensure the application’s performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Handle offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Work with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, and others.
- Implement push notifications using Google Firebase and Apple Push Services.
- Stay updated with new technology trends, tools, and frameworks, and continuously improve your skills.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and task estimations.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth delivery and deployment of applications.
- Collaborate with the team to design software architecture and provide input on all aspects of the project.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in iOS development with a strong command of Swift and Objective-C.
- Solid understanding of GCD, including Serial & Concurrent Queues and other multi-threading paradigms.
- Strong logical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of MVC, MVVM, classes, singleton patterns, protocols, and closures.
- Experience with background tasks, processing, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices in mobile app development.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Familiarity with push notification services, including Google Firebase and Apple Push Services.
- Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excitement for learning new technologies like Swift UI and GraphQL.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
