Join Jio as a Junior Linux System Administrator at our Delhi or Mumbai location. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the maintenance and optimization of our Linux-based systems. You will be pivotal in ensuring seamless usability and performance across our platforms.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) (Mandatory skill) is essential to support our infrastructure needs.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Mandatory skill) is crucial for system management and problem resolution.
  • Experience with CentOS for efficient management of Linux servers and ensuring reliable operations.
  • Proficiency in Shell Scripting to automate tasks and streamline system administration processes.
  • Skilled in using Ansible for configuration management, application deployment, and task automation.
  • Knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration in code development and deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues and improving system efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with teams and provide support where necessary.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of Linux systems and proactively address any issues to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations and deployments.
  • Maintain system security by implementing appropriate access controls and patches.
  • Automate routine tasks using Shell Scripting to enhance system reliability and reduce manual efforts.
  • Utilize Ansible for system configuration and deployment automation, ensuring consistency across environments.
  • Engage in regular backup and recovery operations to safeguard data integrity and availability.
  • Participate in capacity planning and system configuration tuning as demand grows.
  • Document system configurations and procedures to aid in knowledge sharing and training.
