OverviewAs an ArchitectInterior Design you will play a pivotal role in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional interior spaces. You will be responsible for conceptualizing designing and overseeing the implementation of interior design projects that align with clients needs and objectives.Key responsibilities
  • Create interior design concepts and develop detailed design schemes according to clients requirements.
  • Produce visualizations including sketches mood boards and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients architects and contractors to ensure design concepts are aligned with architectural and structural plans.
  • Select and source materials furnishings and finishes that are consistent with the design concept and within budget constraints.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation including drawings schedules and specifications for interior construction and fitout.
  • Manage project timelines and resources to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends products and materials to integrate innovative and sustainable design solutions into projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress quality and compliance with design specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors suppliers and craftsmen to procure materials and execute design elements as per the design intent.
  • Provide design leadership and mentorship to junior design team members.
  • Participate in client presentations and meetings to present design concepts and gather feedback for refinement.
  • Contribute to business development activities by participating in client pitches and proposal preparation.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes regulations and health and safety standards in all design projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as architecture and engineering to integrate interior design with overall project requirements.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design Architecture or related field.
  • Proven experience in interior design and architecture with a focus on commercial and residential projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of materials finishes furnishings and lighting systems and their application in interior design.
  • Excellent visual communication and presentation skills through hand sketches digital renderings and mood boards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Experience in collaborating with crossfunctional teams including architects engineers and contractors.
  • Indepth understanding of building codes regulations and industry standards related to interior design and construction.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in project documentation and coordination.
  • Proactive approach towards staying updated on industry trends technologies and best practices in interior design.
  • Exceptional creativity problemsolving abilities and a keen eye for detail in executing design concepts.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of interior designers and junior staff.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for client interactions presentations and team collaboration.
  • Professional licensure or certifications in interior design or architecture is a plus.
  • Relevant portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful interior design projects.
