OverviewAs anArchitectInterior Design you will play a pivotal role in creatingaesthetically pleasing and functional interior spaces. You will beresponsible for conceptualizing designing and overseeing theimplementation of interior design projects that align with clientsneeds and objectives.Keyresponsibilities
  • Create interiordesign concepts and develop detailed design schemes according toclients requirements.
  • Produce visualizationsincluding sketches mood boards and 3D renderings to communicatedesign ideas effectively.
  • Collaborate withclients architects and contractors to ensure design concepts arealigned with architectural and structuralplans.
  • Select and source materials furnishingsand finishes that are consistent with the design concept and withinbudget constraints.
  • Prepare comprehensivedocumentation including drawings schedules and specifications forinterior construction and fitout.
  • Manageproject timelines and resources to ensure timely and qualityproject delivery.
  • Stay updated on industrytrends products and materials to integrate innovative andsustainable design solutions intoprojects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspectionsto monitor project progress quality and compliance with designspecifications.
  • Coordinate with vendorssuppliers and craftsmen to procure materials and execute designelements as per the design intent.
  • Providedesign leadership and mentorship to junior design teammembers.
  • Participate in client presentationsand meetings to present design concepts and gather feedback forrefinement.
  • Contribute to business developmentactivities by participating in client pitches and proposalpreparation.
  • Ensure adherence to building codesregulations and health and safety standards in all designprojects.
  • Collaborate with other departmentssuch as architecture and engineering to integrate interior designwith overall projectrequirements.
Requiredqualifications
  • Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Interior Design Architecture or relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in interior design andarchitecture with a focus on commercial and residentialprojects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designsoftware such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp and Adobe CreativeSuite.
  • Strong knowledge of materials finishesfurnishings and lighting systems and their application in interiordesign.
  • Excellent visual communication andpresentation skills through hand sketches digital renderings andmood boards.
  • Ability to manage multipleprojects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and budgetconstraints.
  • Experience in collaborating withcrossfunctional teams including architects engineers andcontractors.
  • Indepth understanding of buildingcodes regulations and industry standards related to interior designand construction.
  • Strong organizational skillsand attention to detail in project documentation andcoordination.
  • Proactive approach towardsstaying updated on industry trends technologies and best practicesin interior design.
  • Exceptional creativityproblemsolving abilities and a keen eye for detail in executingdesign concepts.
  • Proven ability to lead andmentor a team of interior designers and juniorstaff.
  • Effective verbal and writtencommunication skills for client interactions presentations and teamcollaboration.
  • Professional licensure orcertifications in interior design or architecture is aplus.
  • Relevant portfolio showcasing a diverserange of successful interior designprojects.
